In response to a growing global pandemic, the tech sector has been leading the charge in the move to remote work. The San Francisco Bay Area in particular has a high concentration of workers in the professional and business services sector compared to the rest of the country, with more than 540,000 jobs by the end of 2019. Whether you’re a social media manager, UX designer, writer, engineer, etc, you’re someone who can do your work from just about anywhere, with just a laptop and WiFi connection.
